The Imagepreneur: Terms & Conditions
Purchasers must be over the age of 18. The Imagepreneur only provide wardrobe services and personal shopping for women.
If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping details) we use external parties for the billing process. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you so please ensure this is correct.
All personal services must be paid for in advance of the service in order to reserve and confirm your appointment. Your appointment will not not be confirmed until full payment has been made. Once your payment has been processed, The Imagepreneur will contact you via phone or email within 3 working days to arrange an appointment with you (does not apply to Gift Certificates). Please ensure you provide at least one method of contact and ensure your details are correct. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to arrange an appointment with one of our stylists or shoppers as we can tend to get booked up during busy periods.
Organising Your Appointment
Personal Shopping is only conducted between Mondays – Fridays, 9am – 5pm. We do not provide personal shopping appointments at the weekend, evenings or during other busy times such as Christmas or school holidays as we cannot provide the best service possible for our clients during these busy times.
Wardrobe Services can be provided between Mondays – Fridays, between the hours of 9am – 7pm. Special requests for weekend, bank holiday or evening appointments have an additional charge of up to R500.
Geographical Location of Stylists
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that they are both in a geographic area serviced by The Imagepreneur and in a position to receive the services purchased. The purchaser must be in a position to receive the services purchased and expect to allow The Imagepreneur access to their wardrobes, clothing and accessories wherever they may be located in the home. If the purchaser is unable for any reason to allow the The Imagepreneur access to their wardrobes, clothes or accessories it will deemed to be a cancellation, however The Imagepreneur may provide an exchange of services at their discretion.
Currently The Imagepreneur operate within Johannesburg but will travel to Cape Town and Durban for certain services offered. This list is intended as a guide only, so please contact us to check if we provide services in your area, as we recruiting new stylists and personal shoppers regularly through our training program.
The Imagepreneur cannot accept responsibility for those booking or purchasing services online without checking with The Imagepreneur if that area can be covered. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to make these checks before purchase.
Travel expenses for our stylists may be extra if the client is based outside of areas covered by our stylists. These are charged at AA rates return journey. The agreed amount is to be paid upfront. If you are buying any of our personal styling services as a Gift Voucher you can pay for the travel expenses yourself - please inform us if you wish to do so at the time of booking by emailing us or calling us. We will make every endeavour to match you with a stylist based close to you if possible to keep travel expenses to a minimum.
If The Imagepreneur is unable to fulfil an order due to geographic location, a refund will be offered subject to our cancellation terms.
If for any reason you need to change the date of your appointment, The Imagepreneur are happy to reorganise appointments to suit you within 1 month of the original scheduled appointment, however this is subject to availability so there may be a wait involved. If you need to reschedule, there is no charge for 1 reschedule, however payment must have been provided in full to reschedule.
If you call to reschedule, it would be great if you could have your diary to hand to get another date booked in. If you reschedule your appointment more than once, you will then be subject to a R280 rescheduling fee for every additional reschedule.
In the unlikely event that we should ever need to, The Imagepreneur reserve the right to reschedule appointments with clients. Should this unlikely event occur, The Imagepreneur will make every attempt to find another appointment that will suit the client equally as well.
We will deem you to have made a cancellation if you fail to confirm your appointment by 5pm the night before your scheduled date and / or attend a pre-arranged appointment OR inform us you no longer wish to have an appointment with us anymore. If we have not managed to get a confirmation from you by 5pm the night before your appointment this will be deemed a cancellation.

If you do have to cancel your appointment for any reason at all, please try to let us know as soon as possible as you may incur charges.
Cancellations of appointments, bookings or purchases are subject to a R180 administration fee from the time of purchase, up until 14 days before the date of appointment.
14 days or less prior to the appointment date cancellation will incur a 25% charge.
Cancellations of appointments or bookings less than 7 days in advance are charged at 50% of the price of the service, plus any travel or accommodation expenses that have been incurred e.g. reservation of hotel rooms, travel expenses etc.
For any Personal Styling Training, an additional R180 cancellation fee may be incurred to cover materials, food and venue hire which The Imagepreneur will lose due to the cancellation.
Prizes / Giveaways / Competitions
Prizes, giveaways and competitions that include the winning of a style service from The Imagepreneur must be claimed within 1 month of the date of winning unless otherwise stated or indicated on a gift certificate by The Imagepreneur.
Where there is a cancellation or attempt to reschedule an appointment where the recipient has recieved the service free of charge, The Imageprneur can not guarantee another appointment in replacement of the original agreed appointment. Some prizes / giveaways / free service may originally specify when the prize / free service / giveaway must be taken and this may not be negotiable. This applies to any volunteers who apply to get a wardrobe consultation or personal shop or any style service free of charge with one of our trainees.
Client Profile Form
For Style Consultations, Wardrobe Consultations, Personal Shopping services you may be asked to complete a client profile form to assist our stylists and ensure that on the day of your appointment, you get the most from the time with your personal stylist. Upon confirmation of your appointment, when payment has been made in full, you will receive instructions on how to complete your client form, which can be done via email or post or over the telephone.
There is no need to do any preparation before your appointment. The Imagepreneur will do all the work! All that we ask is that you keep all of your clothes in the wardrobe as they are; but perhaps bring shoes and accessories in to the same room as your wardrobe, so that your style advisor can see everything you have to work with.
Some clients in the past have had a good clear out of their wardrobe before we arrive; and although this is absolutely fine, you may want your style advisor to check over everything before it heads to the charity shop, just to ensure you aren’t parting with something that could be revived!
If you have seen any particular outfits or pictures in magazines that you like, feel free to collect them in order to show to your stylist when she arrives.
For personal shopping services, wear comfortable clothes that you can get in and out of easily; as you will be trying a lot of different outfits on! If you have had a wardrobe or style consultation beforehand, it is always worth asking your stylist if you should wear anything particular (as she will know the contents of your wardrobe).
Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes either as you will be doing some walking. If you are looking to purchase something in particular on your shopping trip that you haven’t already discussed with your stylist, let her know in advance of your personal shop together.
Last but not least – bring an open mind and trust The Imagepreneur and stylist! They are there to work FOR you and WITH you and get you the results YOU want. Don’t be afraid to be honest and open about what you want to achieve and then trust their expertise – you won’t be disappointed.
Gift Certificates Policy
Gift certificates may not be exchanged for cash in either full or part and are only redeemable in the geographical areas outlined unless confirmed in writing by The Imagepreneur. Gift certificates represent a particular service offered by The Imagepreneur only and are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Gift certificates can not be replaced if lost or stolen.
If you purchase a personal styling gift voucher and find it to be unsuitable for the recipient, we will be happy to refund you up to 20 days from the date of purchase, minus a R180 administration fee.
The recipient of the gift certificate can call or email us to book their appointment with us any time between Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am – 5pm. We recommend they book their appointment at the very least 2 weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate them.
Bookings must be made before the expiry date stated on the gift certificate, which is 6 months after the purchase date unless otherwise stated.Gift certificates are only valid once payment has been received in full by The Imagepreneur. The Imagepreneur do not take any responsibility for gift certificates where the recipient of the gift certificate has failed to make contact with The Imagepreneur before the 6 month expiry date and feel this is adequate time for recipients to get in touch to organise their appointment.
It is the responsibility of the recipient or purchaser of the gift certificate to make an appointment with The Imagepreneur and therefore The Imagepreneur cannot be responsible or held accountable for expired gift certificates and feel that 6 months is more than adequate time for recipients to get in touch and we do this to ensure we can always leave adequate time in a season for any recipients of gifts to book their appointments. Once the 6 months has expired, we can no longer leave allocated slots in our diary for recipients of gifts and have to put an end point on the possibility of the recipient getting in touch, otherwise we hope you can appreciate the gift certificate could be in circulation for years!
Travel expenses for our stylists may be extra if the client (recipient of the gift voucher) is based outside of areas covered by our stylists. These are charged at AA rates. The agreed amount is to be paid before the meeting. You can pay for the travel expenses yourself as part of the gift voucher - please inform us if you wish to do so at the time of booking by emailing us or calling us. We will make every endeavor to match you with a stylist based close to you if possible to keep travel expenses to a minimum.
If The Imagepreneur is unable to fulfill an order due to geographic location, a refund will be offered subject to our cancellation terms. Please call or email us if you are unsure about geographical location of services provided.
When ordering a gift certificate, please allow adequate time for processing and delivery by 1st Class post. It is highly unlikely we can provide gift certificates in less than 48 hours so please call us on 0823203129 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unsure about delivery, and we’ll see if we can find a solution to your challenge!
The Imagepreneur Training, Workshops and Events
Should you need to cancel your place at a The Imagepreneur training course, event or workshop, you are entitled to a refund less a R280 admin fee up until 4 weeks in advance. Cancellation less than 2 weeks in advance incurs a R580 admin fee, unless you have paid a non-refundable deposit, which is often the case for our training courses. Should you cancel less than 48 hours before a workshop or event, you may incur charges of up to 50% of the ticket price. You may pass your place on to a friend or colleague and in this case, no cancellation charges will be made.
The Imagepreneur reserves the right to cancel workshops or events one week before if we don't have minimum numbers. If The Imagepreneur are rescheduling the event or workshop, your place will automatically be reserved at the new date and venue. Should you not be able to attend the new date and/or venue proposed, or should we cancel the event entirely, a full refund will be given or the amount can be transferred to another service with The Imagepreneur.
Locations of Services
Johannesburg Northern areas, Pretoria are all covered by The Imagepreneur however we can offer appointments in Cape Town and Durban depending on the service required, sometimes at an additional cost for travel expenses.
Exchanges on any products or services are at The Imagepreneurs discretion.
Refunds will be given if a particular service cannot be carried out by The Imagepreneur due to the location of the client, however an administration of R180 may apply, therefore please check we can conduct services in your area before making any purchases.
Refunds cannot be made once the service has commenced or has been completed. Refunds are also NOT AVAILABLE on any eProducts available to buy through our online shop such as eBooks or course materials.
Cancellations of any appointments, bookings or purchases are entitled to a refund; however please see information on Cancellation Charges as these may apply.
We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
Communications from the Site
Special Offers and Updates: We may occasionally send you information on products, services, special deals, promotions. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications on each e-mail.
Newsletters: Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Alternatively, send us an 'opt-out' e-mail”
Uses of Information: The information we collect is used for billing/shipping of the goods or services ordered.
Customer Service: Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a confirmation email. We will also communicate with you in response to your enquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. If you need to contact us, please refer to our contact page.
Copyright, Trademarks and Intellectual Property
All copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on www.theimagepreneur.com and all content (including all applications) located on the site shall remain vested in The Imagepreneur. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use our content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use without our written permission.
